Guidelines for oral presentations (free paper sessions)

• The time slot for each talk in free paper sessions will be 12 min (8 min talk + 4 min discussion).
  
  
• Computer and beamer will be provided for PowerPoint presentations.
  
  
• Accepted file formats: IBM compatible, MS PowerPoint, videos running by the MS standard version of Windows Media player
  
  
• To allow a smooth course of talks, the speakers are encouraged to upload their presentation using the electronic submission site by visiting www.essr2006.de/upload.php which is online from April 1 to May 17, 2006. You may check and/or alter your presentation in the Media Check up to 1h prior to your presentation.
  
  
• All data will be deleted irrevocably shortly after the meeting.
  
  
• Slide presentation and usage of own laptops will NOT be possible.
  
  

Guidelines for poster presentations

• Posters will be grouped in four poster sessions according to topics. The time slot for each poster will be 3 min (2 min presentation + 1 min discussion).
  
  
• Format of poster has to be DIN A0 (height x width: 120 cm × 85 cm). Posters should be mounted on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 between 13:00 and 19:00 and should remain fixed throughout the congress time. There will be sufficient material to affix the posters.
  
  
• The two best posters will be selected for Poster Awards (each €250) which will be handed out during the Gala Dinner at the NEPTUN, 20:00-24:00 on Saturday, May 20, 2006.
  
  

The PROCEEDINGS of the 41. Congress of the ESSR will be published on a CD-ROM and book volume that can be ordered from the publisher:
