Rostock and Warnemünde

Peninsulas, islands, lakes and large fields - that is Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with Rostock in its heart. Despite more than 777 years of town history - the jubilee of the Freedom of the City was celebrated in 1995 - Rostock is a young town. Once an important member of the Hanseatic league, the town has retained much of its original charm, never averse to new issues. This is due to the students and the Rostock University, which is the oldest within the Baltic region.

When the seaside resort of Warnemünde was purchased in 1323 -at that time still a small fishing village-, the people of Rostock bought themself a piece of nearby paradise in the early middle ages. Not only is the wide beach special to Warnemünde, but also 'Alter Strom' is unique.

Congress venue will be the legendary 5-star-hotel "Neptun" in the heart of Rostock-Warnemünde located directly at the beach of the Baltic Sea. This unique place meets all of the requirements of a modern congress center and additionally offers modern recreational and wellness facilities. The hotel is the first original Thalasso center in Germany and provides a comprehensive program covering beauty, health, fitness and nutrition.
